The following training event is offered by the Lombard Mennonite Peace Center (LMPC) for individual registration.

Here I Stand: The Process The Here I Stand process is a multi-year approach which aims to elicit change in congregations by inviting changes in individual members. Using a Beliefs Chart, Here I Stand invites participants to become more aware over time of the interplay between their beliefs and relationships. As individuals become more clear on beliefs and principles which are their own – independent of relationship pressures – they can contribute to the steadier functioning of their congregations. 

Here I Stand facilitator training event

Here I Stand: Leading Change Through Self-Differentiation is a three-day training event led by Bob Williamson which equips participants – pastors, religious educators, and other local leaders – to facilitate the Here I Stand process in their congregations.

  •  August 18-20, 2009 – Redeemer Lutheran Church, Hinsdale, Illinois (western suburbs of Chicago)
